VLF High Voltage Withstand Cable Test Set is a high-voltage testing instrument used to test insulation materials and power equipment. It is usually used to test the electrical insulation performance of transformers, cables, switchgear, and other high-voltage equipment.
The VLF high-voltage tester tests by generating very low frequency high voltage signals, typically in the range of 0.01 Hz to 0.1 Hz. Compared to traditional AC high-voltage testing, this low-frequency signal can be more effectively injected into the insulation material of the tested equipment, thereby comprehensively evaluating its insulation performance.
