Partial Discharge Variable Frequency AC resonant test system can be used for AC voltage withstand test and partial discharge test of all electrical equipment. Use the excitation transformer to excite series or parallel resonant circuit, and make the reactor inductance L and the test object capacitance C resonated by adjusting the output frequency of variable frequency power device. The resonance voltage is the voltage applied on the test object. Or carry out induction withstand test by direct output from the intermediate transformer to the primary transformer.
HMCXZW-1750kvA/500kV Partial Discharge Variable Frequency AC resonant test system is customized for client, it is  applicable for below test :
  1. 115kV GIS, withstand voltage is 235kV,
  2. 230kV GIS, withstand voltage is 425kV;
  3. 115kV cable,cross section 800mm, length is 1km, capacitance is 0.226uf. Withstand voltage is 128kV. (Only do the high voltage test for the cable,)

Features:

  1. Effectiveness of the test is good. The output of the device is sine wave, and the waveform distortion is low. The waveform deviation factor is<3%, which is different from other types of variable frequency power device (other types of variable frequency power device are square wave output, sine wave after waveform shaping). Therefore, this device does not need to measure the peak value during the test.
  2. The optical fiber mode is used to isolate the high and low voltage control circuits thoroughly.
  3. Small in size, light in weight, flexible in handling, it is very suitable for on-site use.
  4. The operation is simple and convenient, the wiring is simple, and it can increase the work efficiency by 50% (compared to the generator set mode).
  5. It is safe and reliable, and a variety of protection is integrated in the device. Include: Discharge breakdown protection, overvoltage setting protection, output short circuit protection, starting zero protection, bridge arm amplifying circuit protection, power curve protection, etc. When any kind of protection appears, the device will disconnect the test voltage output immediately, cut off the main circuit power supply, to ensure the safety of the tester, the test object and the test system.
  6. The signal source in this device is produced by special chip, and is controlled by microcomputer. The output frequency stability is high, and it can reach 0.01Hz.
  7. The variable frequency output voltage is controlled by TI Company's high-speed microcomputer, and the output voltage instability is<1%.
